As (currently) the only counter-surfer in the SageKeep household, Frodo never understands that when I'm hollering across from the living room to the kitchen at him, I'm not giving him a "come here" command. When I am hollering at him to leave the food alone on the kitchen counter, Frodo thinks I've called him and he happily trots over to see what it is that I want with him. No matter how many times this scenario has played out, Frodo never understands I'm correcting his counter-surfing and am not issuing a "come here" command. Just when I thought for sure Frodo was among the most clueless of my Berners (Shali could've given lessons in being clueless), I look outside and all my Berners are sitting in the pouring Rain and only Frodo has taken shelter away from the elements. Frodo is a lovely boy with a very sweet temperament. He's also very huge. However, I've made the difficult decision that Frodo will NOT be part of my breeding program. This has to do with breed conformation and is no reflection on Frodo's soundness. He is a superb companion and has always been a very healthy, robust Berner. This means I'm looking for a pet family that's well suited for Frodo to join. If you'd like me to consider placing Frodo with you, please contact me: sagekeep@aol.com. Serious inquiries only, please. Frodo comes from a respected european kennel. Of all the Berners
I've lived with thus far, Frodo is the absolute funniest of them all. His
personality is really, really funny. Moreover, he's a total sweetheart...he
loves to love and be loved. Importantly, he's never demanding of my attention
but will patiently await his turn for affection.
