Vinny earned three (3) different Championship titles:

National Champion, UCI

InternationalChampion, UCI

Champion, AKC

Vinny easily finished his National

and International Championships

through UCI with all V-1 Ratings in BRED-BY.

His formal titles are CAC & UCICB.

Next, we pursue his CACH (Ehren) title with UCI.

Vinny easily finished his AKC Championship with four (4) consecutive wins in Utah.

THANK YOU! to Karen & Jim Childs,

and handler Juliet Clendenon! http://handlingbyjuliet.com/default.aspx

I highly recommend Juliet's handling to anyone!

As you can see in these photos, Juliet did a superb job w/Vinny.

Importantly, she had very little pre-ring "practice" time, too!

Vinny was my premier show champion with superb orthopedic clearances, great overall health and an excellent temperament. He was an absolutely sound dog that is wonderful to live with.

At age 11 months, Vinny won two (2) Major Wins, back-to-back, out of the Bred-By class. This means Vinny got both Majors despite my inept handling. At age 10 months, second show ever, Vinny won Winner's Dog AND Best Bred-By Groups 2, then 3 on two consecutive days.

I allowed Vinny to mature, to shut-up the nasty voices that said he would finish his CH before he'd matured enough.

At age 3 years+ 2-1/2 months, Vinny easily finished his AKC Championship with 4 straight back-to-back wins in Utah with handler Juliet Clendenon.

I am very proud to be Vinny's breeder, owner and handler!

My heartfelt THANK YOU to Dr Dan Brown and the team at the Animal Clinic and Hospital of Moscow, Idaho! Their veterinary help with Vinny and all of my Bernese has been incredibly awesome!

If you live anywhere near Moscow, ID, I highly recommend this wonderful veterinary facility to you.

Here's their website: www.animalclinic.org

I also highly recommend WSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital and their wonderful team of veterinary professionals. They have helped Vinny and all of my Berners at one time or another. Special thanks to Dr Michelle Powers and Kelly Hughes, who did a superb job with Vinny's orthopedic radiographs.

Vinny's 2nd Major Win!  age 11 mos

FUN FACT: Without knowing it at the time, Judge Lawrence (Larry) Sinclair, and then his wife Judge Mrs. Lawrence (Janet) Sinclair gave Vinny Winner's Dog and Best Bred-By one day after the other. THEN Their daughter, Judge Shelli Sinclair-Wood gave Vinny his second Major win. Vinny and I are very thankful to the Sinclair family of AKC Judges! I had the privilege of telling Shelli about this and we enjoyed the humor of the Sinclair's help in getting Vinny's championship finished!
